Buttercup
Buttercup changed the way we look at and care for our horses forever. She was a Wonderful soul who affected the lives of many people throughout her short but amazing life. She left behind a large number of people including vets, therapists, farriers, and MANY new friends who Butters helped to "Think out of the Box" and apply what they learned from her to further help others in need. Our mare Whispers of Dignity (see her on the broodmares page) wouldn't be here, healthy and happy today if it wasn't for what we learned from our Big Beautiful Buttercup. We love and Miss you every day Butters.
God blessed us with creatures to share our lives and love.
A gift from heaven, you came from above.
You taught us of courage and to never give in.
You brightened our days time and time again.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone,
For a part of us went with you the day God called you home.
You are always there playing in our hearts and minds each day,
And the joy and memories you gave us can never be taken away.
If tears could build a stairway
And memories a lane,
We would walk right up to Heaven
To be with you again
Thank you Kathy for sharing this beautiful poem

Hoss
Hoss was going to be one of the great ones. He was the spitting image of his multiple World Champion halter sire RH Stars and Stripes. In 2009 at the Pinto World championships he took home 3rd over all in the Youth Yearling geldings, reserve World champion amateur yearling gelding, and 3rd overall Open Yearling gelding. Then 2 weeks later he took home 3rd overall at the APHA Youth World Championships in youth yearling geldings. Sadly in August he developed Wobblers syndrome and had to be put down. Our heartfelt thanks to Allyson Rotan and family for taking care of and loving Hoss, and making him the champion he was.

Dakota
Dakota was our shining star. He was in training to make his big debut at the 2010 pinto World Championships in SPB Yearling geldings. He passed away suddenly, and will be missed forever. He was a big goofy clown who made me laugh every day. I will always Miss you my wild Pirate pony.
